Effective immediately, there are important updates regarding training requirements that you need to be aware of:
Certification Deadline for TSC Access Control Management (OBSE): Existing Security Officer (SO) grade officers are required to be certified competent in the TSC Access Control Management (Operate Basic Security Equipment) (OBSE) course by 31 December 2025. This certification ensures readiness for security duties and compliance with training requirements.
Focus for Those Who Completed TSC Guard and Patrol (PGPS): If you have already completed the TSC Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard & Patrol Services) (PGPS) course, you only need to focus on obtaining the OBSE certification by the specified deadline.
*OBSE Full Course Fees: $363
- For Singaporeans (≥21 years old) and PRs: $181.50
- For Singaporeans (≥40 years old): $108.90
