Service Description

Course Objective: CPR + AED Certification Course aims to empower individuals to step forward and perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when called upon. Many studies have shown that performing CPR and use of the AED can improve the chance of survival of the casualty. In fact, for every minute of delayed treatment, the chance of survival drops by 7-10%. In line with Singapore’s effort to equip more people with CPR+AED skills, ETANN CONSULTANTS is offering affordable yet quality training using our high fidelity QCPR Manikin by Laerdal and Brayden PRO QCPR. This is in line with Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) guidelines for all CPR+AED Certification courses to be equipped with QCPR Training. Course Outline: provide relevant knowledge and skills on CPR and relief of relief of foreign body airway obstruction in a conscious and unconscious infant and adult casualties. This course will also provide you with the knowledge and skills on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult casualty. 1. Recognising and managing heart attack. 2. Understanding the chain of survival. 3. Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 4. Use of an automated external defibrillator. Course Duration: Half day (4 hours) Assessment Details: • THEORY ASSESSMENTS​: This assessment is a multiple-choice questions. The questions are broken down into: CPR (Hands Only) & AED • PRACTICAL ASSESSMENTS: For practical assessment, learners will undergo scenario-based tests. This is to ensure that they are able to carry out the necessary first-aid steps across multiple medical emergency scenarios. Certification Details: Upon completion of the course and passing the assessment, learners will be issued a certificate valid for 2 years by ETANN Consultants, accredited by SFRAC.
