Course Objective:
Individual is able to gain knowledge and apply skills required to take and perform appropriate actions to deter undesired outcomes when on duty at protected areas and places.
Course Outline
Element 1: Prevention and management of unauthorised entries to protected areas and protected places.
Element 2: Handling of suspicious subjects with dangerous items at protected areas and protected places.
Element 3: Procedures and techniques when refusing entry of banned characters and issuance of Move-On Oder.
Element 4: Application of techniques to identify and stop unauthorised intelligence gathering and suspicious activities involving video and photo taking.
Element 5: Applications of techniques to identify, stop and seize unauthorised intelligence gathering and suspicious activities involving Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
Course Duration:
20 Hrs (2.5 Days), Excluding lunch break.
(Day 1 & 2: 9am - 6pm / Day 3: 9am - 1pm)
Assessment Details:
An assessment of 2 hours will be conducted by POLWEL at Etann Security Consultant Pte Ltd. Results will be made known immediately after assessment.
Certification Details:
Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-ICM-2001-1.1 Deterrence.
