TGS - 2021004428 Course Code: SEC-ICM-2001-1.1 Course Objective: Individual is able to gain knowledge and apply skills required to take and perform appropriate actions to deter undesired outcomes when on duty at protected areas and places. Course Outline: Element 1: Prevention and management of unauthorised entries to protected areas and protected places. Element 2: Handling of suspicious subjects with dangerous items at protected areas and protected places. Element 3: Procedures and techniques when refusing entry of banned characters and issuance of Move-On Oder. Element 4: Application of techniques to identify and stop unauthorised intelligence gathering and suspicious activities involving video and photo taking. Element 5: Applications of techniques to identify, stop and seize unauthorised intelligence gathering and suspicious activities involving Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Course Duration: 20 Hrs (2.5 Days), Excluding lunch break. (Day 1 & 2: 9am - 6pm / Day 3: 9am - 1pm) Assessment Details: An assessment of 2 hours will be conducted by POLWEL at Etann Consultants Pte Ltd. Results will be made known immediately after assessment. Certification Details: Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-ICM-2001-1.1 Deterrence.
